The name Lupatus is a derivative of the Latin ‘Lupus’, which translates as “wolf”.

The name is engraved on a gold plaque inset into the ring. The shoulders of the ring are pierced. A small but wearable ancient ring in fine condition. There are remnants of old glue to the left hand side of the plaque.
