A gold and enamel brooch commemorating Queen Victoria’s Jubilee.

Measures 5.4 x 2.9cm.

 

The fine high carat gold brooch is set with diamonds, pearls and garnets. There is an unidentified registration number engraved to the reverse which reads; 45936.

 

Provenance; by repute gifted by Queen Victoria to the Duchess of Alençon, Sophie Charlotte (c.1847 - 1897).
