A North Iberian polychrome painted and parcel gilt Vargueño from the private collection of Sir Michael Caine.

Spanish, mid 17th century. 

Measures 89 x 50 x 32cm.

The central carved door above a short drawer, flanked by two banks of three similarly carved drawers, the drawer fronts applied with bone panels and painted with scrolling flowers.
